Overview
Cookie Consent Blocker (“the extension”) does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data. This policy explains what the extension does locally on your device.
Data we do not collect
The extension does not:
- Collect personal information
- Send any data to external servers
- Use analytics or tracking
- Access or read your cookies
- Share data with third parties
Local storage only
The extension uses Chrome’s built-in storage (e.g. chrome.storage) to save only:
- Enabled state – Whether you have turned “Auto-reject cookie dialogs” on or off in the popup.
- Whitelist – The list of domains you add in Options where the extension should not run.
This data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us or anyone else. If you use Chrome sync, your preferences may sync across your signed-in Chrome browsers (this is Chrome’s standard behavior, not under our control).
Host permission
The extension requests permission to “read and change data on all websites.” This is used only to:
- Detect cookie consent dialogs on web pages
- Click the “Reject” / “Decline” / “Only necessary” button when you have enabled auto-reject
- Hide the consent banner after clicking
Page content is not read for analytics or sent anywhere. The extension does not access, read, or modify your cookies.
